The structure of an Arc is something that can be flexed in with mathematical & parametric constants. Each degree of curvature expressed represents thousands of data points for HIV/AIDS victims in 1994. Each Arc offset is the result of 1000 deaths. In 1994 AIDS was the leading cause of death in Americans age 25-44 (source). What is often neglected in this data and presentation is that those deaths were among LGBT+ people, sex workers, immigrants, and generally those perceived by the US government as less than desirable.
